The Certificate in Business Accounting qualification is made up of 4 Objective Test Modules which are:
The good thing about the CIMA Certificate Level qualification is that exams are on a “on demand basis” meaning that you can schedule and sit for an exam whenever you feel you are ready for the exam. CIMA Cert BA can be completed at your own pace since you choose an exam date that suits you. The exams are computer based and can be taken online at the comfort of your home or office (there will be an online proctor). Alternatively, you can sit for the exam at any Pearson VUE accredited Computer Based Exam Centre near you.
The CIMA Cert BA exams are 2 hours long and consist of 60 compulsory objective test questions (except for BA4 which has 85 questions), these could be made up of: Multiple Choice/ Multiple Response/ Number Entry/ Drag and Drop/ Hot Spot/ Item Sets etc. Short scenarios may be given to which one or more test questions relate. CIMA uses a scoring system for its exams so generally you will need to obtain at least around 70% in order to pass an exam.
