The CIMA FLP registration process in South Africa has the below steps:
Step 1: Enroll for CIMA FLP with Contemporary Training South Africa
To register under the CIMA FLP study pathway, you simply need to choose your preferred CIMA FLP subscription option (click here to view the options); request a quote on this link: https://forms.gle/RmefL39djSK5p9wj8 ; make payment and then send us your:
Oct: Closes on 14/10/2025 (Access to FLP portal will be granted around 1st of Nov)
Nov: Closes on 11/11/2025 (Access to FLP portal will be granted around 1st of Dec)
Jan: Closes on 13/01/2026 (Access to FLP portal will be granted around 1st of Feb 2026)
Step 2: CIMA FLP Registration Internal Processing
Upon receiving your complete application (all above documents), we will initiate the internal registration process with CIMA on your behalf.
Step 3: Receive Your FLP Registration invite link
Keep an eye out for an email directly from CIMA (aicpa-cima domain) containing your CIMA FLP Registration invite link. This is expected to be sent to you by 22 October for September – October registrations; by 19 November for October -November registrations & by 21 January for November to January 2026 registrations. You will need to urgently alert us if you do not receive this invite link email by 630pm on the above relevant date.
Important Note:
For a smooth registration experience and as a precautionary measure, please refrain from opening the link or completing the registration on the link without our guidance. Contact us (info@contemporarytraining.co.za) upon receiving the link for assistance in finalizing your CIMA FLP registration. Registration must be finalised within 3 days from the date of receiving the invite link.
Step 4: CIMA FLP Account Activation
Once you successfully complete Step 3, CIMA will activate your CIMA FLP account within about 18 days
Step 5: CIMA FLP Registration is Completed. Welcome to the FLP Platform!
a) Start Your CIMA FLP Learning Journey:
Explore the FLP Platform: Once your account is active, familiarize yourself with the learning portal by taking a tour (accessible through your profile dropdown menu).
Begin Your Studies: Start studying and attend the orientation session that we will invite you to.
Ongoing Support: For study-related support, contact Samuel (samuel@contemporarytraining.co.za) with a copy to info@contemporarytraining.co.za. Samuel will assist you directly or connect you with the relevant lecturer.
Escalations: For concerns regarding our service, escalate your issue to Samuel (samuel@contemporarytraining.co.za) and further, if necessary, to Farai (farai@contemporarytraining.co.za).
Study Progress Feedback: We encourage you to give us regular updates on your progress (at least three times a month) for us to be able to personalize your learning experience and provide you with relevant information/ support.
